Developments have progressed quickly in recent years and there are now a number of well-established services that are available to the population at local or regional level; for example, there has been a rapid increase in video consultations with doctors. However, few of the services, expect for video consultations, have managed to be rolled out to the wider public. Yet is shall be underlined that the pandemic have increased the access to these services across the Nordic countries.

In our publication we are describing 24 practical examples of services that local and regional healthcare providers in the nordic region offer their citizens and that, through digital support, move the point where healthcare and social care are provided into or as close to the home as possible.
