The solution is targeted to young people to cope with difficult situations and different kinds of worries. The service contains a picture-based questionnaire and information about challenging situations that young people may or might have been experiencing. The service offers information to cope with those problematic situations, and enables to contact professionals by chat if needed and if user wants to proceed to chat service.
The solution lowers the barriors to seek and receive help anonymously, and makes it easier to evaluate current or past situation in a way that is comfortable for younger people.
The solution is used in seven regions in Finland. Users are young people, mainly under 25 years, and social- and health care professionals.

Needs and challenges

Growing up can be hard. Everyone should have a possibility to reflect their feelings, growth and worries with someone, but that does not always happen.

Young people may carry loads of mental burden for a long time before they act it out somehow. When young people keep their feelings and thoughts for themselves, growing up might get even harder. Then there is a possibility that worrying and fears increases and joy disappears. Young people need to be heard and met.
